Comfort Cases

​American Community Management is supporting Comfort Cases, an organization that provides backpacks filled with necessary toiletries, pajamas and other essentials to children in foster care. Providing these backpacks or cases boosts the children’s self-esteem as they often are provided garbage bags for their use in their transition.

Caring Cupboard ​

The mission of the Caring Cupboard program is to try to ensure that no citizen, and especially children, in Anne Arundel County suffers from food insecurity or hygiene issues of any kind and for any reason through providing food and necessities through their schools, on-site pop-up pantries, and by supporting other food pantries throughout the county.

​Catherine's Family and Youth Services Inc.

Baltimore City

Catherine’s Family and Youth Services’ goal is to help alleviate the everyday stresses that low to no income families face daily. The services focusing on family are tailored to uplift and strengthen the families within our targeted communities. Qualifying families will have access to our food and diaper hub, clothing bank, back to school drive, and annual holiday giveaways. Referrals to resources for counseling and housing will also be provided.

Community Action Council

Howard County

​CAC works to diminish poverty and enable self-sufficiency for all Howard County individuals, families, and children in need. CAC provides year-round Head Start and pre-K programming to income-eligible families who reside in Howard County. It’s well-documented that children living in poverty are more likely to experience or develop mental, emotional, behavioral health challenges.
