Enhances Responsiveness
and Efficient Flow of Information.
ACM is constantly researching and integrating the latest
technology to maximize our potential as managing agents.
This concerted effort to utilize the most advanced software
systems for accounting, property management, and community
management has been vital in enabling the rapid expansion
of our portfolio. By investing in the services of companies
such as Corelogic Jenark, SenEarthCo, Smartstreet, and Resident
Interactive, we have been able to create a platform to streamline
information seamlessly and efficiently for our clients,
in a fashion that few others can deliver. Proactively pursuing
new and innovative ways to assist our associations and deliver
services is our priority. By investing in the best tools
and technologies today, we better position ourselves for
the future; this approach and philosophy will remain steadfast
as we move forward. Descriptions of our current systems
and some of their beneficial features are as follows:
Corelogic
Jenark Accounting/Property Management Software
CoreLogic
(NYSE: CLGX) is a leading provider of consumer financial/property
information, analytics, and services to business and government.
This company has built the largest U.S. real estate performance
database, with 2009 revenues reaching $2.1 billion. CoreLogic
Jenark’s acclaimed software is specifically designed for
the property management industry. This system allows ACM
the ability to streamline accounting documents and other
pertinent information accurately and efficiently, securely
transmitted through a centralized database, accessible online
24 hours a day.
SenEarthCo
SenEarthCo is innovatively created
community management software that has enabled ACM to deliver
a far superior product to our clients. This provides a most
reliable system for our managers to easily enter, view,
store, track, and update documents. It also enables board
members to view information via a simple connection through
ACM’s community website portal, www.acmhome.com. Some examples
of items uploaded and stored through SenEarthCo that can
be reviewed by board members include:
- Monthly bank statements
and financial reports.
- Homeowner delinquency reports.
- Monthly management reports
- Property information, community
policies/by-laws, and amendments.
- Meeting minutes.
- Violations
and pertinent correspondence relating to specific violations.
- Existing contracts and previous proposals submitted.
SenEarthCo
was specifically designed to seamlessly integrate with most
accounting/property management software; this allows ACM’s
accounting personnel to enter data through Corelogic Jenark
that automatically flows through to SenEarthCo. In turn,
our managers can use the SenEarthCo system to create simplified
summaries, detailing the most current financial information
for the board’s review.
Smartstreet
Smartstreet is catered
specifically to the needs of community associations and
the professionals who manage them. Their parent company,
Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), is one of the largest banks
in the world (based on market capitalization). Smartstreet
saves customers invaluable time by processing all payments
automatically and no banking fees are assessed for their
service. With Smartstreet, once you establish your personal
account through ACM’s community website portal, you can
conveniently make electronic payments to the association’s
account. They also feature a highly advanced lockbox service
that captures pertinent information from paper checks, automatically
depositing funds into the association’s account the same
day they are received. Smartstreet recognizes every individual
is comfortable with different methods for bill paying, and
therefore, processes payments via paper check, electronic
check, ACH, online debit, or credit card. Other notable
features include:
- Easy to set up online signature cards
for board members.
- Instant account access, enabling daily
tracking of cash flow.
- Competitive interest rates for
reserve accounts and instant cash transfers between accounts.
- Competitive rates for loans, providing crucial liquidity
for an association facing difficult financial circumstances.
- CDARS (Certificate of Deposit Account Registry Service)
program, which provides FDIC insured protection of association
funds in CD’s with other banks enrolled in the CDARS program.
Resident Interactive
Resident Interactive was established
in 1999 by former employees of Oracle. Anticipating demand
for home automation and broadband internet access, these
visionaries developed a dynamic intranet platform encompassing
household and local community content. Their business of
delivering advanced website technology to residential buildings
and communities has lead to enormous positive feedback from
our clients. Resident Interactive’s customizable intranet,
above all else, is completely private and password protected.
This product enables ACM to deliver our interactive website
system, through which owners can create personalized homepages,
while simultaneously accessing their community website.
ACM is constantly evaluating how we can continue to communicate
information with maximum efficiency, to as many people as
possible, while not sacrificing anything in details and
accuracy. Corelogic Jenark, SenEarthCo, Smartstreet, and
Resident Interactive are instrumental in accomplishing this
and help facilitate the professional and innovative business
operation that ACM takes pride in sustaining.
